Penchrise Border Terriers

The Border Terrier is a British breed of small, rough-coated terrier. It originates from the area of the Anglo-Scottish border, and shares ancestry with the Dandie Dinmont Terrier and the Bedlington Terrier from the same area. Penchrise is located in the Scottish Borders and is the natural home for the Terrier. The location consists of hardy hill lands with Gorse, Heather and mountain long grasses which are the perfect territory for the hunting terrier.

Penchrise is surrounded by the perfect territory for the Border Terrier.

With many miles of open countryside, there is plenty of room to exercise and maintain a healthy and happy dog.

Although Bord Terriers don’t like water, they are very adaptable to ford burns and brooks on long walks.

However, they are just at home in front of a fire after a winters walk.

Mother - “Twiglet”

Twiglet is a Blue and Tan Grizzle Border Terrier. Registered with the Kennel Club, her full pedigree history is recoded over 62 generation forebears. A bright and intelligent dog, she has lots of energy but is very easy to train and control on walks.

She was born in 2019 and has had 8 puppies over 2 litters.
